BBC's Komla Dumor dies

Africa's BBC main presenter on "Focus on Africa", Komla Dumor has passed away. The TV anchor reportedly passed away at his home in London today Jan. 18th. He was aged 41.
He began working for the BBC in 2003,first as a broadcaster for the radio show “Network Africa.” Prior to that, he worked for ten years in his native Ghana, where he had been awarded the Journalist of the Year Award in 2003. Aside from his presence on “Focus of Africa,” he is known for his TEDxEuston talk titled, “Telling the African Story.”


In 2009 Komla Dumor became the first host of Africa Business Report on BBC World News. May his soul rest in peace...Amen.
